Paige’s Story: Breast Cancer Survivor Returns To Work At GE
If you’ve seen the recent advertisements for the James Graham Brown Cancer Center and University of Louisville Hospital, then you’re familiar with Paige Bradley Murray, a recent success story in the fight against breast cancer. Paige discovered her cancer when the Brown Cancer Center’s Mobile Mammography Unit visited General Electric’s Appliance Park in Louisville last year.
After months of treatment for her breast cancer, Paige Bradley Murray returned to work at General Electric. In front of her co-workers (many of them wearing symbolic pink in her honor), supporters from the Brown Cancer Center and members of the media, Paige took yet another victory step in the story of surviving breast cancer.
We tagged along to document a bit of the day informally. Take a look at Paige’s first day back at work and the celebration it inspired.
