Happy Baby New Year 2012!

Every baby born at the Center for Women and Infants at University of Louisville Hospital is a special bundle of joy. But for the first newborn of the year arriving after 12:00 a.m. on January 1, 2011, a few more bells and whistles are required!
Dubbed University Hospital’s “Baby New Year,” baby boy Terry Dickerson III was welcomed to the world by proud parents Jaymisha Green Dickerson and Terry Dickerson at 7:32 a.m. Weighing in at 6 lbs., 14 oz., Baby New Year Terry joins his older sister, DeZhori Dickerson, 1.
The family received some special gifts to honor the baby’s arrival time on New Year’s Day, including a Baby New Year gift basket, gift card, flowers and balloons.
Mom Jaymisha, Dad Terry and Godmother Ronneka Mullins were all smiles posing for pictures with Baby New Year Terry the III. "This is so special, I wish he (the baby) could know what was going on right now," Jaymisha smiled.
Last, but certainly not least, the family was presented with the poem below written by University Hospital Mother/Baby Nurse Tammy Zielberg about babies born on New Year’s Day. It shares how we all feel and on behalf of University of Louisville Hospital, we offer our congratulations to the beautiful family and Happy New Year to everyone! A New Blessing
What a wonderful way to start the New Year
With a precious one so dear
Your life has been changed like you can’t believe
As into your world this little one you receive
This little life has just begun
And life as you have known it is done
But there is nothing like the birth of a child
Especially now as this world is so wild
Happy New Year! We wish you well!
Much happiness from all of us at U of L!
